Use filtering in the Standard Time® timesheet to show employee hours, or a single project, or client. The filtering tree at the left side of the timesheet can be used to find certain information or to edit an employee timesheet.
Changing User Rights
Need to set the rights for each user of your timesheet? Make some users admins? And other users with limited rights, and limited timesheet access? Here’s how.
Each timesheet user has rights that dictate what they can see and do. Some users may only need to see the timesheet itself — no tasks, no expenses, no PTO, no time off, no invoicing. Others may see all those things, or some. You decide each user experience with these rights.
Approving Timesheets
In a single view; review and approve multiple timesheets.
Submitting and approving timesheets is optional. But it’s still a valuable feature, and necessary for some organizations where supervisors, managers, and executives need to approve employee timesheets.
Timesheet Approvals
Standard Time® makes approving timesheets submitted by employees easy! This will make supervisors, managers, engineers, and consultants happy!
First off, submitting timesheets is totally optional… but here’s how it works: Employees click the ‘Submit for Approval’ button at the bottom of their timesheet. They only do this once for the week (or pay period). A message is sent to their manager. The manager sees a list of employees who have submitted their timesheets. He approves, and a message is sent to his manager. And that higher-manager approves. Timesheet approvals are really that simple.
But again, timesheet approvals are optional in the app. You don’t need to use them unless your company policies demand it. They can be a really nice way to check up on the status of projects and tasks. In other words, this aspect of the timesheet becomes a communication tool.

Happy Timesheet – Standard Time®
Can a timesheet make you happy? Maybe… if it truly makes your life easier… sure! This video will show you the many things available in the Standard Time® timesheet.
This timesheet has a lot to make you happy. That’s why it’s called the ‘Happy Timesheet’. 🙂
Timesheet Pay Periods
Arrange your timesheet pay periods. Either one week, two weeks, a month, or any other date range. Standard Time® helps to eliminate human error.
How does it help eliminate error? By showing the expected hours for a full pay period. Employees can quickly see if they have entered those hours.
Let’s say you’re expected to work 180 hours for this pay period, and 188 for the previous one. You’ll see a line at the bottom of the timesheet to remind you. You’ll also see how many hours you entered. A quick comparison helps find errors. Check out www.stdtime.com for more info.
Email Notifications
Standard Time® makes it easy for management to send out notifications to employees. Notifications might occur when timesheets are not filled in, or they don’t have enough hours, or tasks are coming up. Watch the video below.
Email notifications make timesheet management simpler. The program checks timesheet status and automatically notifies employees when certain conditions are met. Because it is automatic, you don’t have to babysit the timesheet as much.

DCAA Timesheet Compliance
There is a timesheet specially made for the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). It’s Standard Time®; it has everything you need for your project.
And just to go above an beyond… this timesheet has support for Option Year contracts and contract MOD’s. What are they? Well… if you don’t know, then you probably don’t need them! Option Year contacts are a government thing. Each year you get a new contract that specifies the scope of the projects. It lists the manpower and rates the government will accept. You assign actual employees and countersign the contract. Then you own it. ST supports that whole process. But still… if you don’t use OY contacts, then it’s more than you need.
So maybe you just need a simple timesheet that is DCAA compliant.
ST has that too.
DCAA compliance is not hard. There are some simple rules you must follow. Do that, and you’re find. The link below shows how ST complies with DCAA regulations.
